Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the electrical power quality performance characteristics of CNC machines in the Production Process Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology, given the critical role of power quality in production precision and efficiency. The primary issue addressed is the lack of understanding of CNC machine power quality, which may lead to inconsistencies in production processes. The objectives of this research are to analyze electrical parameters, identify potential issues, and provide improvement recommendations. The expected outcomes include enhanced production quality and CNC system reliability. The research methodology involves electrical data measurement and analysis, along with CNC machine performance evaluation. This study aligns with the principal researcher’s roadmap, which focuses on engineering technology and innovation, and supports the Faculty’s research roadmap aimed at improving education and research quality. Collaboration with relevant industries is expected to strengthen the validity of the findings. The planned outputs include journal publications and technical recommendations for system improvements.
